1. Definitions

We, us: Ski Armadillo Ltd

You: The person who is making the booking, including any person or persons on whose behalf a booking is made. In these terms words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa and the masculine shall include the feminine where the context so admits. All paragraph headings are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning or construction of these terms.

2. What we Do

Our job is to provide catered chalet accommodation.

3. Payment

You will make payment to us for the total price of whatever services you have asked us to book in your name in the amount/s that we have informed you and by the dates notified. In the event that you have not paid by the due date then we will have the right (in addition to any other remedy) to treat the booking as having been cancelled by you as at the date when we write to you giving you notice of such cancellation. We will not supply accommodation or other vouchers to you until payment has been made in full.

All bookings will be subject to the payment of a security deposit, to cover any costs incurred through breakages or damage to the property during your stay. The deposit will be 20% of the total price paid. This amount will be authorised 2 weeks prior to arrival and cancelled up to 1 month after your stay. You will be liable for any breakages or damage to the property caused by you or any member of your party. These costs will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damages are greater than the deposit paid, you will be responsible for these costs. Return of your deposit may be delayed if the costs of any repair has to be determined.

Please note that (unless a "self-catered" reservation), Ski Armadillo operates a catered ski chalet service. As such, guests do not have the right to use / operate any of the kitchen appliances (except tea / coffee facitities). Guests are not permitted to use the oven and/or hob at any time.

4. Alterations and Cancellations by You

You can make alterations and cancellations at any time but only in writing signed by the person who originally made the booking. You will have to meet all the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by us in organising this alteration or cancellation

In any case in the event of cancellation:

Prior to 10 weeks before departure any deposit shall be forfeited

Within 10 weeks of departure - 100% of the holiday cost shall be due and payable to us

5. Alteration and Cancellation by Us

If we are forced to alter or cancel a holiday then we shall offer you:

(i)an alternative holiday if available, or if not then

(ii)a full refund of sums paid by you in respect of the price of the whole holiday providing cancellation has taken place prior to the departure.

If the cancellation or alteration is due to factors beyond our control or if the changes are not substantial we will not pay compensation.

6. Refunds

We will not pay any refunds in respect of unused portions of unused accommodation.

7. Marketing and Brochures

We take every effort to see that the information contained in what we publish is accurate but all the information given is based on our best knowledge at the time that we incorporate it into our holiday documentation. If you would like us to check a particular point then please would you request it in writing. We will always try to give accurate information and quotations to enquiries on the telephone or by email but we can only accept responsibility for information confirmed by us in writing and signed by a duly authorized member of our staff.

8. Your Responsibilities

You will indemnify us for all losses and/or damage arising from any act or default on your part or the part of any member of your party. You will ensure that you have in your possession all necessary valid travel documents. In making a booking you agree to abide by the regulations and restrictions imposed on us, as they might apply during your holiday and to accept their jurisdiction. We cannot be responsible if you are ejected from or refused entry to pre-booked accommodation due to infringements of regulations, offensive or illegal behaviour or the contraction of an infectious or contagious disease or illness. We would also reserve the right to cancel forthwith our contract with you without any reimbursement in your favour in the event of you displaying unacceptable or illegal behaviour.

You accept that you ski or enjoy other winter sports at your own risk within the restrictions imposed by the resort or other authorities. We do not have any responsibility for your actions or those restrictions. 

9. Our Responsibilities

We are responsible for any injury or death, if proven to be by our direct negligence but not for any other accident, injury or death, loss or damage that might occur.

10. Insurance

It is a condition of every booking that you are covered by personal insurance for each member of your party, that covers you adequately for winter sports and third party risks.

11. Complaints

We do not pretend that everything will always be perfect. If there should be a problem it will be in your interest to try and sort it out directly with us at the time of your holiday. Any claims for compensation or refund must be made in writing within 28 days of your final days stay.

12. Jurisdiction

These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed by English law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any claim or dispute arising out of or connected with them or any such contract. None of our employees has any power to vary the conditions contained herein.

13. Property finding and selling

From time to time we are asked by landlords and clients to find buyers or sellers on their behalves. If SkiArmadillo Limited successfully finds a buyer or a seller it will be entitled to charge a fee commensurate with market prices.

14. Data Protection:

To help us to process and fulfil your booking we need to use the information you provide (such as name, address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc). We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information and are in accordance with local law. We must pass the information to the relevant suppliers of your arrangements such as Ski Schools, car hire companies, etc. The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. The information will not be sold to third parties. You have the right to access the personal data we hold for you, in order to do so please contact us. We may use this information to contact you with details of other products and services offered by Ski Armadillo. If you do not want this service please email us on info@skiarmadillo.com.

Use of Cookies:

To assist your navigation of this website and our prevention of fraud we may send "cookies" from this website to your computer. We do not obtain personal data from your computer or gather personal information about you unless you personally give information to our server. Furthermore computer viruses are not passed through the use of "cookies". You may choose to disallow "cookies" via your browser but this website may not work properly as a result.

We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise Ski Armadillo Verbier throughout the Internet. AdWords remarketing displays relevant ads to you based on pages of Ski Armadillo Verbier that you have viewed. It does this by placing a cookie on your machine. Importantly this cookie does not in anyway identify you or give us access to your computer.
